Data processed by Timedify

Timedify processes the store and merchant data required to authenticate the app, call Shopify's Admin API, and provide time-controlled content. Timedify does not store customer records or order data.

Theme content is rendered in the merchant's storefront. Authentication, app configuration, and technical webhook processing use Shopify and Timedify's secure hosting infrastructure.

How Timedify Works

Timedify is a Shopify app that provides time-controlled content functionality:

  • Content is controlled by time-based settings configured by the merchant
  • The storefront timing logic runs in the merchant's theme
  • No customer or order records are stored by Timedify
  • No external tracking or analytics are implemented

Merchant Data

The only data processed by Timedify includes:

  • Shop configuration, shop domain, and timezone
  • App settings stored in Shopify metafields and metaobjects
  • Shopify account and session data required for authentication
  • Subscription and billing status provided by Shopify

This data is used only to provide, secure, and support the app. Shopify access credentials are stored server-side and are not sent to storefront visitors.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect any data we process:

  • Data encryption in transit and at rest
  • Regular security updates and monitoring
  • Access controls and audit logging
  • Secure hosting infrastructure

Third-Party Services

Timedify integrates with:

  • Shopify: For app installation, billing, and basic shop information
  • Fly.io: For secure hosting and data processing

Timedify uses these services only for the stated purposes and applies appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

Your Rights

As a merchant using Timedify, you have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data

  • Withdraw consent

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary:

  • Authentication and technical records: while the app is installed and needed for operation
  • Shopify session and webhook records: deleted when Shopify requests shop redaction
  • Billing records: managed by Shopify and retained according to applicable obligations

Cookies and Tracking

Timedify does not use tracking cookies, advertising tools, or analytics on the storefront. Shopify may use technically necessary authentication mechanisms in the admin.
